Dolli & Ken

Their wedding was an outward show of their faith in God.  With absolutely beautiful decorations and fabulous food, they celebrated their union with devotion to God.  They wrote their own vows, although Dollie's was on paper, Ken's was all in his head and he said he wanted it to come straight from his heart!  There was not a dry eye there!  After their vows were said, they performed a foot washing ceremony to signify their devotion to each other as Jesus did with his disciples.  Mark and I were so honored to be witnesses of God's love displayed!  Ken is recovering from cancer and we know that his and Dollie's faith have brought them through some trying times.....Ken is a promoter for EMI records and instead of having a traditional reception, they had a gospel concert!  Ken's groomsmen were all recorded, some Grammy winning and some  Stellar award winning artists!  They held church!  Mark and I were blown away with their music as well as their testimonies!  We did not listen to much Gospel, but we will now!  Also, Ken's Aunt Pearlie May sang a song that she would sing in church....her voice was so beautiful and so much soul....I have never witnessed the black culture worship our God in such a way...it was truly a blessing I will never forget and it encourages me to bridge the gap in the body of Christ. Here are some of the images we created...Enjoy!
Truly Blessed, Jeannie
